The wedding of Jarryd & Jen De Jager gets top points for creativity, variety and most importantly for a couple completely in love. This day started at the Durban Beach front - a definite first for me for the boys getting ready. It was the most amazing morning. The sun made its first and only appearance, and the waves were good: I was worried Jarryd and his men might not make it to the church ;-). I then travelled up to Summerveld to capture Jen and her beautiful ladies getting ready - the temperature must have dropped about 20 degrees but Jen was amazing and we managed to get some pictures outside to make the most of her incredible dress. And what an exquisite bride - wow! The service was held at Highbury in Hilcrest, and we sped back down to the beach front to capture a few couple and bridal party pictures. It's safe to say that the conditions were far from ideal for photos but for this couple, Jen and Jarryd, it really didn't seem to matter. Something just came through in these pics despite the miserable clouds....It was quite an emotional day from start to finish and you guys certainly have something very special to hang on to. We then finished our shoot at the Durban Manor - again - something very different for me! The day ended perfectly at a beautiful dinner with close friends and family at the Quarters Hotel on Florida Road. I wish you guys all the best for your years ahead.....I can safely say this is wedding I will never forget - thanks for being so fun and making this such a fun and friendly day to be apart of. Lots of love, Fee x
